Privacy Policy

Last updated: 5 June 2026

startai.training ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and the rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK GDPR.

startai.training is operated from Ireland. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, contact us at [email protected].

What we collect

We deliberately collect as little as possible:

  • Email address — only if you choose to give it to us (newsletter signup, "email me my roadmap", or a mentoring enquiry).
  • A signup source — the page you submitted the form from, so we understand what's useful.
  • Technical data — when you visit, our infrastructure provider (Cloudflare) processes standard technical information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the site securely and reliably.

What we do not store: your answers to the "Find Your Path" questionnaire are processed in your browser request to generate your result and are not saved to a database or linked to you.

Why we use it, and our legal basis

Purpose Data Legal basis (GDPR Art. 6)
Send you the newsletter / your roadmap Email Consent
Respond to a mentoring enquiry Email, your message Consent / steps prior to a contract
Keep the site secure and available Technical data Legitimate interests

You can withdraw consent at any time — every email includes an unsubscribe link, or you can email us.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the site, under appropriate data-processing terms:

  • Cloudflare — content delivery, security and performance.
  • Our email provider — to send newsletters and respond to enquiries (provider to be confirmed; this policy will name it once selected).

When you click an affiliate link to a third-party course or tool, that third party may collect data under their own privacy policy — we don't pass your personal data to them. See our Cookie Policy.

International transfers

Some providers may process data outside the EU/UK. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision).

How long we keep it

We keep your email for as long as you're subscribed or until you ask us to delete it. Technical/security logs are kept only as long as needed for security and troubleshooting.

Your rights

Under the GDPR / UK GDPR you have the right to: access your data, have it corrected or erased, restrict or object to processing, request portability, and withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email [email protected].

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Ireland, the Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie); in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Children

This site is intended for adults considering a career change. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

Changes

We may update this policy. The "last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
